BlackEyedAngel225 Damn this was good…indie folk without sounding contrived and overly sentimental as most of the genre does nowadays. Mixing is phenomenal for such a lowfi project. The lyrics are also especially great, Fade Away being the best example. Gives me kind of a Sparklehorse vibe which I love. Will definitely be looking forward to more projects from you. Favorite track: Fade Away.

nekonoah Amazing I’d buy this in a heartbeat if there was a physical copy for sale, this is pure gold Favorite track: Dusk to Dawn.

Bloodlines 02:48
Blood spilt on the cornerstone You built a castle with a noble throne A concierge with a mandolin Play a sweet song let the games begin Blood flows from the sacred font You're so superior and nonchalant You take a stroll on the solemn turf They don't miss you now, for what it's worth Lockstep like a fierce brigade Trample over every promise made Bloodlines blood blood lines Blood flows from the tap at home Can't shake the feeling that you're not alone The body's small, but the soul is vast Destroy the future and erase the past Blood spilt and washed away A flash flood that appeared one day A raging river that will never relent The form is broken and the frame is bent Lockstep like a fierce brigade Trample over every promise made Bloodlines blood blood lines

On the Ropes 02:10
Well they said it was a match up for the ages The hype and the suspense was so contagious But somehow in the ring you lost sight of everything Now you're on the ropes She's about to throw The knockout blow It's the same old song, there's always someone cheating The archetype that never stops repeating You're blinded by the love, she's lacing up the gloves Now you're on the ropes She's about to throw The knockout blow When you stepped into the ring you were equals But if you didn't stick around to see the sequel I bet you didn't know that she could hit so low Now you're on the ropes She's about to throw The knockout blow

Dusk to Dawn 03:14
Fugitives and exiles Shelter in the storm Looking for a way out Trying to keep warm Back here at the station I don't even know she's gone I'm just checking boxes Writing numbers on a form Where it's nice and warm From dusk to dawn Maybe there's a reason She vanished in a rush A whisper like hot ashes In the dry and brittle brush The fire spread so quickly There was fire all along The valleys and the hilltops Can you see what's going on What's going on From dusk to dawn And as the daylight fades The sky caves in like a ball of flames Tall shadows tilt and break And the ashes fall Like gentle rain Fugitives and exiles Shelter in the storm Looking for a way out Trying to keep warm Maybe I should run away To the fields of green and gold To somewhere I belong To someone I can hold Like I've been paroled Because it's been so long From dusk to dawn

Fade Away 03:17
Here they come Checked-out and reckless With a case of Pabst and a 5th of Jack For breakfast Big ideas Like flying solo Spending time with all the people Lost and let go I can feel them closing in on me Those ghosts of yesterday Close the door, turn the lights out Fade away Stuck in time Stuck in traffic I'm gonna fade into That phantom demographic But I'm all right You can call off the rescue It doesn't matter now We're doing fine without you I can feel them closing in on me Those ghosts of yesterday Close the door, turn the lights out Fade away Always cause up in the undertow Never saw the bottom way below Way below the waves Buried in the dust of the days I can feel them closing in on me Those ghosts of yesterday Close the door, turn the lights out Fade away

Well I gave my deposition To the Mazerati man Broke down in San Ysidro In a mangled cargo van Sent a message to my brother Said the money's almost gone Gonna get my guitar Set my sights on a fixed star Never gonna know I'm gone Hey, hey, hey Hey hey hey hey Living on Mars We've all seen this Zombie apocalypse in the streets Some kind of Pharmaceutical conspiracy Gonna trade this gray-brown air For a sky of red Get my O2 N2 levels just right And be sleeping on a laser bed Hey, hey, hey Hey hey hey hey Living on Mars Well I gave my deposition To the Mazerati man Sent a message to my brother Said there's been a change of plans Hey, hey, hey Hey hey hey hey Living on Mars
